Pixie will be 12 in October.
I see her do this many times a day.
In human years, she's 85 years old.
Like many elderly people,
Pixie is starting to have trouble staying awake.
She tries.
She forces her eyes to stay open as long as she can,
but,
sleep wins,
and her eyes shut for another nap.
My sweet girl,
you are joy to me!
