I'm really Not a Holiday Bead Maker Person

I don't know why,
I just have a few holiday beads in my Etsy store.
Right now,
only a few could
remotely be considered
holiday.
For example,
I do have a
The cat has orange eyes.
That could be considered Halloween, right?
Well, maybe.

I also have some
They're sort of Halloween or Thanksgiving.
Well, sort of, I guess.

Then there's the

That's sort of Christmas,
Well, maybe, sort of, I guess.

How about the
That's Christmas,
sort of, I guess.

This might explain why my kids get some of their presents wrapped in
Target bags.

Or why the few decorations I put up at Christmas,
are still up from last year.

I wish I were more of a holiday person.
How do you feel about the holidays?
Are you a holiday person?
I'd love to hear!

Halloween is my day of days but then I have Halloween type decorations around me all year. I guess I am just ghoulish. LOL As for the other so called holidays. Bahhhh hum bug. It is all about the money for all holidays. Christmas is a joke. Who can spend the most and what stores make their bottom line for the year. I was in a store two weeks ago and Christmas items were already out on the shelves. REALLY??? No I am not a holiday person at all.

HaHa, about the only part I like is the gift-wrapping, and now that the kids are grown, we give even fewer gifts, though we have always been quite restrained in that department (not much choice, we had four boys less than seven years apart, start to finish, and one salary). My kids grew up never expecting a whole lot. I like to tell people that if it weren't for my husband putting up a tree, no one would guess we celebrate Christmas at our house LOL.

I'm with Nicole - I guess I fall in the Ghoulish catagory. I can hardly believe that all of the Christmas stuff was in the stores about two weeks ago. Heck, the trees are just turning and it's not October yet either...makes me crazy to see it all. My favorite is the penquin.

I blog hopped my way to your place this morning and have spent some time looking around and I love your blog. I had to comment because I am so NOT a holiday person either. When my kids were younger I did decorate for Christmas but I just don't. I'm discouraged by the commercialism and everyone feeling the need to 'keep-up-with-the-jones'. When I gift it's always something I've made so I hope it means more.
Can't wait to read more...I just had to comment here because I always am made to feel like the three eyed scrooge when I don't 'display' for the holidays.
